Royal Stables

 Board with us and your horse will be treated like family. Fed three times daily, stalls cleaned daily and pasture turn out as weather permits. We have an onsite farrier avalible to take care of all your shoeing needs, and we can even arrange veterinary appointments for you.*

Feeding

We use a  POULIN grain, fed twice a day, hay three times a day and water twice a day. The majority of our horses are fed Oats , complemented with DAC products, we also offer a sweet feed of a 10% protein -8% fat mixture, and alfalfa pellets or cubes depending on preferance . We will feed your horse what they need to maintain a good body weight. If you have a specific type of feed or supplement you would like your horse to have please let us know we would be happy to accomodate you*. Watering is done with AM and PM feeding, buckets are dumped once a week(or more if needed) and scrubbed once a month. In the warmer months we may water three times a day as needed.

Here at Royal Stables we offer training for both horse and rider (see Lessons fmi). Our staff does all levels of training from weanlings to mature horses, initial breaking to finishing. If your horse needs a tune up we are more than willing to do that too. Training programs are designed to fit the horses needs and well being. Training is offered in all disciplines from longe line, hunter under saddle, trail, reining, western pleasure, jumping, and working cow, to just the all around horse.

The staff at Royal Stables offers instruction from beginners to advanced in english or western disciplines. Group ($20) and private lessons ($25) are offered in a fun, relaxed, non competitive atmosphere for ages 5 through adult. Instruction is offered in basic horsemanship through more advanced types of riding such as reining, gaming, jumping and roping. Visit our Photos for pictures of our noble steeds profiles!

Would you like the benefit of having a horse to ride without all the responsibilites of ownership? Talk to us about monthly leasing. We have a range of horses to choose from. We will match you up to the horse that best suits your needs and goals. Most of our lesson and leasing horses ride both english and western. Leasing includes one free lesson per week! For our competitive equestrians, we offer show training, and coaching. We are happy to haul your horse to the show for you as our schedules permit*. Our Staff shows all over New York and up/down the east coast. We participate in everything from the local associations and fairs to the larger breed shows and specialization shows.
